High House Retreat Property Photography

A note from me: This page has been moved over from my Featured Shoots to my blog as it is no longer up to date work.

One of my latest property photography shoots in Cornwall was High House Retreat in Hayle. This two-bedroom property has been newly refurbished by the owners who are launching it onto the popular Cornish Airbnb market. With Cornwall’s rise in popularity for UK staycations there is a lot of competition for Cornish holiday lets and Airbnb’s. This is where professional property photography can elevate rentals to secure bookings.

WIDE ANGLE SHOTS

High quality property photography utilises wide angles to capture as much of a room as possible in order to showcase it at its best. I delivered a series of wide-angle images across all of the spaces in High House Retreat, including the exterior and garden.

PROPERTY DETAILS

Thanks to the efforts of the property owners, the newly refurbished High House Retreat had plenty of finer details for me to capture up close. This included the free-standing bath, bay window reading seats, fireplace, decking, hot tub and beautiful hand-tiled bathroom floor.

LIFESTYLE SHOTS

Part of the brief for this property shoot was set dressing. I arrived with a variety of props to use across each of the rooms to give them a homely style that would entice viewers and give them a sense of opportunity to relax in this holiday home. Not only did I create scenes based around breakfast, dinner and cosy reading spots, I also curated the artwork on the walls to align with the modern renovations and décor.

VIEWS & LIGHTING

The living room of High House Retreat boasts a view over Hayle estuary, and I made sure to include this in my property photography. I also edited images to remove signage that could distract viewers, such as the local businesses within view from the windows. The property has a variety of different windows and lighting which I captured to show how much natural light is available in each of the spaces, alongside the modern light fittings.

At the time of this property shoot, the owners were awaiting the arrival of new garden furniture, and I arranged to return to High House Retreat once it was in situ. On this second shoot I captured all of the outdoor features to fully round off the property portfolio. This included the decking area, new furniture, garden, hot tub, and outdoor cooking facilities.

The final gallery has given the owners of High House Retreat a broad range of high-quality property images to showcase their hard work and investment.  My property and interiors photography is widely used by estate agents, private owners and holiday letting companies across Cornwall. If you have a property you would like me to photograph, please get in touch.
